ATTENTION: READ THE RULES.
One diary daily maximum This rule is going away this year, oh noz!
Substantive diaries only. If you don't have at least three solid, original paragraphs, you should probably post a comment in an Open Thread.
No repetitive diaries. Take a moment to ensure your topic hasn't been blogged (you can search for Stories and Diaries that already cover this topic), though fresh original analysis is always welcome.
Why oh why do we keep having to see the rec list cluttered with the same anti-whine whines?
We get it already, complaining is bad and complaining about complainers is clever and good. Or complaining is good and complaining about complainers is bad.
Whatever.
Can't we just let diaries rise and fall on their own merits without writing diaries that complain about diaries? Of course there are endless spins on the same topic, some are original, some are good at coalescing various naratives, others are not. Some good stuff will get ignored in favor of populous sentiments, but it is what it is.
If you like something, write a diary and make your arguments. If you don't like something, write a diary and make your arguments.
If you're confused, write to Dr. Phil.
If you think this diary sucks, it does. Catch-22 and a falling star and put it in your pocket.
